Bob earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Beijing Institute of Technology. He has worked at a number of leading technology companies, including Yonyou, Huawei, Baidu, Meituan, and ByteDance, accumulating extensive experience in the development, architecture, and delivery of online software systems. He is currently part of the DREAM Department, where he teaches courses on AI-assisted software development.
At the school, Bob focuses on helping learners leverage the latest AI technologies to build and deliver digital products more efficiently and effectively. His courses cover a range of applications, including AI-assisted programming and software development, video production, and music creation.
With years of experience in software development and engineering management, Bob has worked across a wide range of technical domains. His experience includes enterprise software, such as Yonyou’s Human Resources ERP system; hardware drivers for Huawei’s media gateway voice-processing boards; internet monetization through Baidu’s advertising and traffic ecosystem; algorithm infrastructure, including Meituan’s real-time feature platform for delivery services; and online service delivery for ByteDance’s international AI education products.
Throughout his career, Bob has been responsible for both commercial systems processing over RMB 100 million in daily transactions and large-scale online service systems serving more than 100 million monthly active users. This extensive hands-on experience has given him a deep understanding of the architecture, development, operation, and delivery of large-scale, complex computing systems.
