Ms. Yan Xian is a User Experience Design teacher at the D.R.E.A.M. Department. She holds a Master's degree in Interaction Design from Tsinghua University and has over 10 years of experience in the design industry. She has worked in various fields, including education, automotive, and community development. She served as the head of experience at Zuoyebang for five years, leading the design and experience management of more than 10 hardware products, such as learning machines and practice machines. She specializes in user research and data-driven design, driving product experience upgrades and commercial success.
In the "One Small Step" program, she integrates empathy-driven design and user research methods to cultivate learners' abilities across the entire process from design thinking to product implementation. Through practical cases of user behavior analysis and experience optimization, she helps learners balance user needs with business goals. By using simulated scenarios and group project-based teaching, students can gain insights into user needs, enhancing their teamwork, communication, coordination, and project management skills to provide feasible design solutions for real-world problems.
