We are the Moonshot EXP team. Our name came from our three core values: Experience, Expectation, and Expedition. Currently, we only have three members, but we are actively looking for recruits who are interested in drawing, designing, writing, or passionate about a certain topic. (Or if you're just looking for some additional social service hours ^-^ )
We started out as the Magazine Club in the 2022-2023 school year. We wrote articles and formatted them into magazines, which we sold and presented during the end-of-semester exhibitions. The money we earned all went to OPF (One Planet Foundation), a non-profit organization that helps endangered animals. However, we quickly realized that we were short on articles to publish, and the materials we were able to get could not be made to be related to each other, resulting in a magazine with no clear topic or goal.
This year, we are responsible for the Monthly Club Newsletter for High School. So far, we have finished the October-November edition, which focuses on sports clubs. Through interviews, we hope to show the diversity of our school's club culture and the tremendous impact it has on the school community.
In the future, we will most likely continue to focus on the Club Newsletter, and if possible, our hope is to create semester newsletters that we can print out and sell. In addition, we will most likely start a WeChat official account, in which we will publish the newsletters as well as other articles either written by us or contributed by others.
